Fundacion Pacita Batanes Nature Lodge

Brgy. Chanarian-Tukon, Basco, Batanes, 3900, Philippines

Nestled atop the rolling hills of Basco, Fundacion Pacita Batanes Nature Lodge invites you to bask in the pristine beauty of Batanes in the Philippines. Secluded, romantic, and serene, it was once the home studio of internationally acclaimed artist Pacita Abad. Lovingly refurbished by her brother, Budget Secretary Butch Abad, it now provides peaceful accommodation to travelers charmed by the island.

Blending native designs with modern amenities, every room resembles a gallery, adorned by masterpieces of well-known and up-and-coming artists. Each has a sprawling sun deck offering spectacular sea views, too. Further conveniences guests can expect include airport and city transfers, a restaurant, and lush garden.

But more than the mesmerizing scenery and genuine promise of relaxation, staying in this destination hotel supports the island and art — two things close to Pacita’s heart. Proceeds of its operations fund conservation projects in Batanes and the education of young Ivatan artists.
